25 million tourists to Egypt by 2020

Minister of Tourism Zohier Garana said in his meeting with members of the US Chamber of Commerce that the ministry aims to increase number of tourists in Egypt to reach 25 million tourists by year 2020.
He said that the ministry's plan aims to enhance the quality of the tourism services and to widen the tourism products including: desert, Safari, Golf, Sport and environment tourism.
He added that the number of tourists visited Egypt past year reached more than 9 million tourists spending about $ 8 billions.
The term "environment tourism" sounds like a contradiction in terms, and I fear for the desert. Lets hope that the additional millions are coming to play golf somewhere where it won't matter!
