30,000 saw ancient Egypt in Cruces

"Tut was a hit. That's the verdict of Branigan Cultural Center officials, volunteers and visitors who flocked to see Tutankhamun: Wonderful Things from the Pharaoh's Tomb. About 30,000 Tut enthusiasts visited the exhibit, said Garland Courts, center manager. The exhibit, which featured more than 100 replicated artifacts from the famous Boy King's tomb, opened Oct. 13 and closed Wednesday."
