Bangor Daily News
Foxcroft Academy students Monday took a visual tour of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, guided in person by the museum’s director general.

Wafaa Taha El-Saddik of Cairo, Egypt, who declined an invitation from the South Korean government Monday in order to meet with Foxcroft Academy students and faculty, presented a slide show of some of the museum’s gems.

"I’m very happy to be here with you," El-Saddik told her audience Monday. Her son, Hadi, is a student at the academy. El-Saddik also displayed some replicas of artifacts contained in the museum, one of which she presented to the academy.
