Egypt to restore a smuggled statue from Germany

This is one of those occasional posts on the SIS which remind one of the Service before it was revamped, when it was frequently something of a challenge to extract the story from the tangled grammar of the post. This appears to indicate that Germany has returned two statues to Egypt, which will now undergo restoration.

Egypt will restore two rare Statue from German the statue which was from Othmanian age, Smuggled from Egypt in the last century.

The German authorities informed the officials of Egypt's Supreme Council who sent a committee to make Sure that the Statues belong to Egypt.

The officials Praised the German authorities for cooperating with Egypt to return back the cultural treasures especially the Statues that was smuggled.
