Exhibition: Coins through the Ages

The exhibition is one of a themed series the Supreme Council of antiquities organizing to display artefacts specific to one topic through Egyptian history.
The exhibition will show a collection of coins dated back to different eras including bronze, silver and golden coins. It also includes the collection of coins with Hieroglyphs on beside the roman plus the Islamic coins of Egypt.
Dr. Wafaa the Egyptian museum curator says “the importance of this exhibition that it will show the political, economical and religious role of Egypt through the ages with a collection that was never been on display in any exhibition.”
