Exhibition: Kunsthistorisches Museum Sends Art of the Pharaohs Exhibition Abroad

The Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Austria is sending abroad Art of the Pharaohs: Egyptian Treasures from the Habsburg Collections, a special exhibition of 231 artifacts and other objects from its Egyptian and Near Eastern art collections.

The works are arranged chronologically and thematically to provide the viewer with a grand sweep of ancient Egyptian history and civilization. Subjects covered include: writing; cosmetics, jewelry and personal adornment; and religion and magic.
