Hatshepsut King of Upper and Lower Egypt

This is an article on the female king Hatshepsut and her temple at Deir el Bahri which is in a long process of restoration. The author mentions the various reliefs and chapels built by Hatshepsut to honour the gods, herself and her family. The article has some nice pictures of the temple.

The author reports that the mummy of Hatshepsut may be one of a couple of unknown women found in a shaft at Deir el Bahri. Dr. Hawass may feel differently about this observation.
