Islamic Museum Badly Damaged

Yesterdays tragic bombing which has left dozens of people injured and left 4 dead has also destroyed the facades of both the Islamic Museum as well as the Egyptian National Library. In the Islamic Museum ceilings have collapsed and the contents of the galleries are described by the Minister of State for Antiquities Mohamed Ibrahim as "topsy turvy" though a full evaluation cannot be made until the building is made safe to enter.
