More on reviving tourism

Tourism is one of the main sources of income in Egypt, but the January 25th revolution disrupted the industry. During the week that followed the Revolution, millions of tourists left the country causing losses estimated in the billions of dollars.

Successful tourism by the international standards depends on safety, tranquillity and perhaps an educational cultural experiences. This led many Egyptians to wonder how Egypt can attract tourism again. Only the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Mouneer Fakhry Abdel Nour, can answer all questions about tourism in Egypt.

In an interview that took place at his office on August 9, 2011 he answered the following questions.
