Review of the first in a three part series about ancient Egypt and its explorers, showing on the Discovery Channel in the US: "The first in a trilogy of films on Egypt (Secrets of the Rosetta Stone and Rameses: Wrath of God or Man follow this month), Egypt Untold: The Curse of King Tut uses narrative storytelling and traditional documentary dramatizations with voice-over to tell the compelling story of Howard Carter, the artist-turned-archaeologist who discovered Tut's tomb. It's an admirable and enjoyable endeavor. Re-enactments from 1922 are extraordinarily well-acted, with recognizable actors from British series and films".
