UNESCO thanked Egypt for its “great” efforts to develop Luxor

from Dr Samir Farag press office: UNESCO sent thanks to the Egyptian government for its efforts to develop the city of Luxor which consider one of the most important world heritage sites and what is being implemented on its territory from development projects designed to be converted into the biggest open museum in the world as a reopening by al-Kabash and the development of Luxor Temple Square and the Temple of Karnak Square and transfer Population of Qurnah village on the west bank to preserve the ancient tombs.

This came at the conclusion of the annual meeting of the World Heritage city on Quebec city in Canada which attended by more than 1200 participants from among the Ministers of Culture and Heritage and Tourism and the ambassadors of the world’s UNESCO addition to the Antiquities and heritage experts and advisers, diplomats and jurists from different world countries.
