UC35309. Fragment of curved, incised, prophylactic baton made of hippopotamus ivory.
Right edge worn for 1 cm, into design of incised leopard head. Possible hieroglyph for 'house' (pr) above an indistinct sign, possibly nfr or the eye with elongated cosmetic line.
Middle Kingdom (1700BCE-2024BCE). Measurements - height 11.7 cms length 5.7 cms width 0.7 cms diameter cms
