EES Theban Harbours and Waterscapes Project begins

EES on Tumblr

The EES Theban Harbours and Waterscapes Project (www.ees.ac.uk) was launched in January 2011 and is funded by members of the public through donations to the Excavation Fund. This new project, directed by Dr Angus Graham, will form a vital part of the Society's current aim to investigate how the people of ancient Egypt responded and interacted with the natural environment. Angus will be leading a team in the field in Luxor from mid-January 2011 and will be posting regular updates on the work to this page.
