Petrie Museum book auction finances conservation project
Thanks to Jan Picton for announcing that this year's book auction raised 6,300 uk pounds for the current conservation project of the stone reliefs and inscriptions in the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology. All the books were donated by both members and non-members in aid of the valuable conservation project. The auction will run again next year so if you have any unwanted books about Egypt or the Near East do keep the Petrie in mind!
